Community service

Since 2008, one full week annually at the Penn Band Summer Music Camp where high school students learn about music.

One full week each year for 17 years counseling at the Keystone Boys’ State youth leadership camp.

Academic and career assistance for many students at or bound for Central Penn College, Harrisburg University, and University of Pennsylvania with academics and career preparation.

Organization of several conferences, including model United Nations and computer user groups.

Building houses with Habitat for Humanity, participating in many United Way days of caring, and helping with numerous fundraisers.

Worked with a project team to produce a community guide to mental health resources.

Spent a week in New Orleans helping clean and rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.

Recently began teaching project management to participants in Uplifting Athletes to help them achieve their mission of supporting rare disease research.

​Play trumpet with Keystone Concert Band (community band). Former member, Symphony Club of Philadelphia (community band).
